Jaipur, March 28 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Friday stressed that "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas" serves as the cornerstone of effective governance. He recognized the public's backing as the core driver of progress and reiterated his dedication to transforming Rajasthan into a thriving and developed state.

During the 'Vikas Aur Sushasn Utsav', part of the Rajasthan Day festivities in Bhilwara, CM Sharma paid tribute to the leaders instrumental in the state's unification, notably Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

He declared that Rajasthan Day will be commemorated annually on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada. The Chief Minister unveiled framework guidelines for significant schemes across various departments and laid the groundwork for initiatives totaling ₹10,000 crore.

The newly presented guidelines included orders for the Urban Development Department; streamlining of fire NOC processes; establishment of DMFT in new districts; the Green Aravali Development Project; the Annapurna Bhandar Scheme; and extended hours for Registrar Offices (twice weekly, 8 AM to 8 PM). Additionally, the Panchgaurav booklet was launched to emphasize local strengths and employment prospects.

Acknowledging journalists as the fourth pillar of democracy, the government introduced the Rajasthan Journalist Health Coverage (RJHS) Scheme to honor their commitment.

A medical application was also introduced, allowing patients to book appointments via their mobile devices. The Chief Minister mentioned that the guidelines for the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Urban Development Scheme signify a major advancement in promoting urban growth and accessibility.

Sharma criticized the previous government for cultivating a climate of corruption, pointing to issues like women's safety, document leaks, energy shortages, financial mismanagement, alleged scams in the Jal Jeevan Mission, and political maneuvering surrounding the ERCP.

He contrasted this with his administration's proactive measures, spotlighting the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, which was conducted in his inaugural year to ensure the successful execution of investment MoUs.

CM Sharma reiterated that effective governance is essential for advancement, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of governance that fulfills public aspirations. The government remains committed to public welfare and efficient administration.

Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani praised the decision to observe Rajasthan Day on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada.

He highlighted the importance of sound policy and governance in nurturing democracy and noted MoUs worth ₹35 lakh crore acquired during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit.

Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa emphasized Rajasthan’s historical importance and the extensive organization of Rajasthan Day through week-long programs that benefit diverse community sectors.

Public Health and Engineering Minister Kanhaiyalal Choudhary commended the Chief Minister's leadership in advancing progress via the "double engine" governance model.
