Lucknow, April 11 (NationPress) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to visit Lucknow this Saturday for a three-day tour of his parliamentary constituency, where he will officially launch the 'Sansad Khel Mahakumbh' and engage in various public events.

Earlier that day, Rajnath Singh, along with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, will inaugurate the grand national-level Advanced Agriculture Festival (Unnat Krishi Mahotsav) at Dussehra Ground in Raisen, Madhya Pradesh. This festival will run from April 11 to April 13, 2026, under the guidance of Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Described as an 'Agricultural Mahakumbh', this three-day event aims to offer farmers a comprehensive solution from 'Lab to Field' and 'Seed to Market' all under one roof. It will feature modern farming technologies, training programs, live demonstrations, and market linkages, intending to revolutionize agricultural practices in the area.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is slated to attend the valedictory session on April 13, where a detailed agricultural roadmap for Raisen, Vidisha, Sehore, and neighboring regions with similar agro-climatic conditions will be unveiled.
After engaging in discussions with progressive farmers, local residents, officials, and elected representatives, Shivraj Singh Chouhan noted that the fair will act as a game changer for the agrarian community.
“A transformative wave in farming methods will initiate from Raisen. This is not merely a fair, but a significant opportunity to alter the future of farmers,” he asserted.
