Ambala, Feb 2 (NationPress) AAP National Convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is the king of liars and wishes to engage in a game of deceit, stated Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij on Sunday.
In response to a media question regarding the current political discourse over the polluted waters of the Yamuna, Vij remarked, “We have already provided numerous clarifications on this matter. Kejriwal is the king of liars and aims to incite panic through deception. Spreading panic is a criminal offence.”
When asked about the upcoming Assembly elections in Delhi, a self-assured Vij replied, “The BJP will form the government in Delhi. Kejriwal is under investigation for corruption, and although he has received bail, the public does not support corrupt and compromised leaders.”
“Many of his Ministers are also involved in corruption cases. Do you believe the people of Delhi will grant control of their government to corrupt leaders? These individuals have only secured bail; they have not been acquitted. The cases against them are ongoing, and the people of Delhi are astute enough to ensure the BJP's triumph.”
Addressing claims that the BJP is utilizing the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for political leverage, Vij stated, “The courts will determine the outcome. Even AAP leaders have the right to defend themselves legally. The police merely present the accused to the court, and it is the judiciary that decides their fate. If the courts denied them bail for an extended period, it indicates the seriousness of their crimes. The court functions independently, and blaming it is unfounded.”
On the state of the roadways operated by the state, he expressed his commitment to making Haryana Roadways the top transport service in the nation.
“We are making substantial advancements in the transport sector. We plan to procure 650 new buses and fortify the fleet.”
He mentioned that to ensure clean and hygienic food at bus terminals, “we are collaborating with Haryana Tourism. This initiative will initially launch at five bus terminals as a pilot project. If successful, it will be extended to all terminals to guarantee travelers have access to quality food.”
Vij also stated that to enhance passenger experience, “we are developing a tracking application that will provide real-time updates on bus locations. Passengers, terminal staff, and display boards will all receive this information. This system will include both government and private buses.
