Patna, Feb 17 (NationPress) Union Minister Bhupender Yadav took a pointed jab at the opposition INDIA bloc, declaring that it has "sunk into a block hole". While addressing the press in Patna, Yadav conveyed his strong belief that the NDA will secure a significant majority in the upcoming Bihar elections.

In response to RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s statement claiming that the BJP would not be able to govern in Bihar while he is present, Bhupender Yadav retorted, stating: "Lalu Prasad is residing in Bihar under the BJP administration."

Bhupender Yadav visited Patna to examine the provisions of the Union Budget for Bihar.

He also engaged in discussions with Bihar Finance Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal on Monday.

As the political landscape in Bihar gears up for the upcoming elections, Bhupender Yadav's comments reflect the NDA’s determined efforts to reclaim prominence in the state.

Following a significant meeting in Patna, BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal underscored the topics led by Union Minister Bhupender Yadav regarding the Union Budget for 2025-26.

The meeting concentrated on envisioning a developed India by 2047 and the budget’s implications for Bihar.

"During the meeting, Bhupender Yadav elaborated on the Mahananda-Mechi River linking initiative in Seemanchal, which will irrigate 50,000 hectares of farmland. He reassured industrialists that they need not be concerned about policies. He clarified how the budget would be advantageous for ordinary citizens," Jaiswal stated.

In response to the US’s crackdown on illegal Indian immigrants, Jaiswal remarked: "Illegal individuals should be repatriated. We also disapprove of those residing here unlawfully."

He further emphasized India’s economic self-sufficiency, asserting: "India does not require financial assistance from anyone; instead, we are prepared to assist others."

Jaiswal criticized Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav for their comments regarding the Kumbh Mela, stating: "Over 50 crore devotees have taken a sacred dip in Sangam, and Lalu Yadav is trivializing it as worthless. This is profoundly shameful. No leader has ever uttered anything like this."
