Rashford, a key figure for the club and England international, has faced a period of inactivity under Amorim’s leadership, leading to intense speculation about a potential exit during the January transfer window.
The 27-year-old attacker, who has been a crucial part of United's success over the years, has found himself out of favor soon after Amorim took over at Old Trafford. He has missed six of the last seven matchday squads, with his only appearance being a substitute role during United’s FA Cup match against Arsenal. This significant drop in playing time has reportedly prompted Rashford to seek a new beginning away from Manchester.

We'll see,” Amorim remarked when questioned about Rashford’s future. “He is a player for Manchester United. We'll see. He has to work. He has to represent his club, and he loves his club, but I have to make choices. I have previously explained how I make those choices. It is what it is.”
Amorim reiterated that team selection is based on his evaluation of what serves the club best, leaving Rashford’s omission open to various interpretations.
As the January transfer window nears its end, Rashford's immediate future remains ambiguous. Should he remain at Old Trafford after the window closes, there is a chance he could earn a place back in Amorim’s plans.
