During a press conference after the FA Cup victory, United manager Ruben Amorim addressed the topic, providing a straightforward yet vague viewpoint on Rashford’s situation. “I don't know. We'll see,” Amorim remarked when questioned about Rashford’s future. “He is a player for Manchester United. We'll see. He must work hard. He has to represent his club and he cherishes his club, but I need to make decisions. I’ve previously discussed my selection process. It is what it is.”
Amorim stressed that his team selections are grounded in his evaluation of what benefits the club most, leaving Rashford’s exclusion subject to interpretation.
