Lanka T10 Super League: Deluge Disrupts All Matches on Day 3

Kandy, Dec 13 (NationPress) Persistent rain has severely impacted the ongoing Lanka T10 Super League tournament at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, resulting in the cancellation of all three matches on Day 3. All three fixtures were officially declared washouts on Friday. This event marks the first complete washout of the tournament, following one or two matches being affected in the preceding days.
The initial match scheduled for Friday featured the Nuwara Eliya Kings against the Galle Marvels, with only 5.5 overs bowled. The Marvels, batting first, managed to score 53/4 before the rain intervened.
The other two matches, Kandy Bolts vs Jaffna Titans and Colombo Jaguars vs Hambantota Bangla Tigers, were canceled even before the toss could take place.
The Jaffna Titans currently lead the points table with five points and two victories. The Galle Marvels sit in second place with four points, while the Nuwara Eliya Kings follow at three points, having had all their matches canceled due to rain.
Kandy Bolts, Hambantota Bangla Tigers, and Colombo Jaguars have yet to score any points, occupying the fourth, fifth, and sixth positions respectively.
