Mumbai, Nov 29 (NationPress) Following successful events in Delhi and Ahmedabad, the Tennis Premier League’s (TPL) Race to Gold Masters Tournament has commenced its Mumbai segment at the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) on Saturday.
This tournament, spanning two days from November 29 to November 30, marks the concluding phase of the Race to Gold before the eagerly anticipated seventh season of TPL kicks off in Ahmedabad.
The Race to Gold initiative provides a competitive platform for boys and girls across the U10, U12, U14, as well as Men’s and Women’s Open categories. This event aims to present young tennis talents with the chance to demonstrate their skills and gain invaluable experience against top competitors.
Each leg’s victors will receive scholarships valued at ₹75,000 and will be honored during a grand ceremony as part of the seventh season of TPL, occurring from December 9 to 14, 2025.
The winners will also have the unique opportunity to engage with tennis legends like Leander Paes and Rohan Bopanna, along with other esteemed international athletes participating in TPL. The Race to Gold Masters plays a vital role in the league’s objective to uncover India’s next generation of tennis stars through its distinctive format.

The upcoming seventh season of the Tennis Premier League is set to be a landmark event, featuring players ranked in the Top 50 of the international circuit for the first time in the tournament's history. With eight teams competing for the ultimate prize, the league will take place from December 9 to December 14 at the Gujarat University Tennis Stadium in Ahmedabad.
