Patna, June 20 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted Bihar’s bright future and its potential to emerge with a new global identity, asserting that the development engine of Bihar, which was hindered during the Congress-RJD administration, will now drive the trains and wagons in Africa.
During his address at a public gathering in Siwan, PM Modi proclaimed, “The engines crafted in Bihar will now operate the trains of Africa. I am convinced that Bihar is on its way to becoming a significant hub for Made in India.”
“The Madhoura railway factory exemplifies the vision of the Bihar that the NDA is nurturing. Today marks the export of the first engine from the Madhoura locomotive factory to Africa. This facility was established in Saran district, which was overlooked during the lalten and panja era,” he elaborated.
He went on to state, “Not only will makhana, fruits, and vegetables from Bihar reach international markets, but products manufactured in our factories will also find a place on the global stage.”
PM Modi’s commitment to transforming Bihar into a Made in India hub was met with enthusiasm from the audience, where he introduced multiple initiatives ranging from train infrastructure improvements to new housing schemes.
He assured his dedication to serving the people of Bihar and emphasized his continuous efforts towards the state’s overall development.
“I will not rest; I will tirelessly work for you,” he declared to the crowd.
PM Modi highlighted that, in stark contrast to the previous ‘jungle raj’ era, Bihar has made significant strides across various sectors, attributing this progress to the Nitish-led NDA government.
He noted that in the past 11 years, India has reached numerous milestones, with Bihar playing a crucial role in these achievements, recognized by global entities.
The Prime Minister criticized the former Congress-RJD administrations, accusing them of plunging Bihar into despair and stated that the current double-engine government has ushered in a new chapter of growth.
Referring to the ‘lalten and panja’ governance, he remarked that during their rule, poverty became a persistent issue due to the continuous misappropriation of Bihar’s resources, but it is the Nitish-led NDA government that has steered the state back towards development.
“I assure the citizens of Bihar that while we have achieved much, there’s still more to be done. I remain committed to the progress of Bihar,” PM Modi concluded.
