Washington, March 17 (NationPress) US Vice President JD Vance publicly supported the administration's military response towards Iran, expressing his confidence in President Donald Trump to manage the situation effectively and avoid repeating previous errors.

“I understand your intentions, trying to create a rift among the administration, between the president and myself,” Vance remarked when questioned about his prior doubts regarding foreign intervention.

He emphasized that there is a unified stance on policy. “The president has consistently maintained since 2015, and I concur, that Iran must not possess a nuclear weapon,” Vance stated. “We have undertaken this military initiative under the president's direction.”

Vance insisted that the emphasis should be placed on the results of the operation rather than any political disagreements. “I believe that whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, we should all pray for success and for the safety of our troops,” he expressed.

When asked if his earlier views on “foreign adventurism” led to any reservations, Vance dismissed the notion. “I have complete faith in President Trump to accomplish the task, to serve the American public diligently, and to ensure that past errors are not replicated,” he affirmed.

He contrasted the current leadership with former administrations. “One significant difference is that we currently have an intelligent president, unlike previous leaders,” Vance commented.

He asserted that Iran's leadership represents a direct risk if they were to gain nuclear capabilities. “If they obtained a nuclear weapon, they would employ it,” Trump cautioned.

Trump also commended Vance's insight on the matter. “I believe JD comprehends better than many that if Iran acquires nuclear weapons, a significant portion of the world could face devastation, and it would likely be used almost immediately,” he stated.
