BJP's Sachdeva Claims AAP is in Troubled Waters Following Sisodia's Seat Shift

New Delhi, Dec 9 (NationPress) After the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) nominated former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for the Jangpura constituency in the Delhi elections, shifting him from the Patparganj seat, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva stated on Monday that this is a clear indication that AAP's ship is sinking.

On Monday, AAP unveiled its second slate of 20 candidates, featuring key names such as Manish Sisodia for Jangpura, Dinesh Bhardwaj for Narela, Surender Pal Singh Bittu for Timarpur, Mukesh Goel for Adarsh Nagar, Rakesh Jatav Dharamrakshak for Mangolpuri, and Pradeep Mittal for Rohini.

In a statement to IANS, Sachdeva remarked, "The candidate list released by AAP today unmistakably reveals that former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's party is in decline. If Manish Sisodia, a key figure in the party, has to shift seats in this manner, it conveys to both AAP supporters and the public that they have not genuinely served the community but rather taken advantage of it."

Sachdeva criticized AAP further, asserting that merely changing seats will not alter the party's reputation.

"Altering the seat will not transform AAP's identity. This is a party that has exploited Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal's political journey began with a vow to eliminate corruption and nepotism, yet he is now entrenched in both," he commented.

He also targeted Sisodia and Kejriwal's management of Delhi's education system, accusing the AAP government of corruption.

"Manish Sisodia purports to be the architect of the education revolution, yet Kejriwal has led the party from 'Pathshala to Madhushala' (from school to tavern)," Sachdeva noted.

Regarding pollution, the BJP leader criticized the Delhi government's approach to air quality management.

"AAP has shown no genuine concern for pollution. Delhi grapples with air pollution throughout the year, yet the government only issues statements. Over Rs 42 crore were designated for improving Delhi’s air quality, yet no action has been taken. This administration is mired in scandals and has failed to deliver," he concluded.
