Bhopal, Feb 27 (NationPress) A woman lost her life, and 12 others sustained injuries when a pick-up vehicle flipped over in the Mungwani police station area of Narsinghpur district, Madhya Pradesh, on Thursday.
As per police reports, the pick-up truck, which was transporting labourers from the Datla Nala region on National Highway, went out of control and overturned.
Approximately 30 individuals were aboard, heading to work in the outskirts. The tragic accident resulted in the woman’s immediate death.
The injured individuals have been admitted to the district hospital for necessary treatment.
In a separate incident in Sagar district, three motorcycle riders lost their lives after a collision with a jeep in the Baheria police station area.
Among the deceased were a father and his daughter. Police sources indicate that the accident took place on Wednesday evening.
Hetram Patel (45), a resident of Semra Dant, was returning with his 18-year-old daughter, Preeti, and Ankit (19) after visiting the “Bade Shankar Ji” (Lord Shiva temple) in Baheria.
A speeding vehicle from Banda struck their motorcycle, knocking all three riders down.
The collision was so severe that Ankit died instantly, while Hetram and Preeti succumbed to their injuries during treatment, according to the police.
Investigations into these incidents are ongoing.
