Government Unveils Rashtraparv Website and App to Celebrate Atal Bihari Vajpayee's Birth Anniversary

New Delhi, Dec 25 (NationPress) In celebration of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Wednesday, the Central government has initiated the launch of the 'Rashtraparv Website' and its corresponding mobile application, as announced by the Ministry of Defence.
This platform allows users to access comprehensive information regarding national events, such as Republic Day and Independence Day festivities, through a specialized website.
The website will enable individuals to purchase tickets for these events while also providing crucial details about national functions, including route maps and schedules.
On the occasion of 'Good Governance Day', commemorating the birth anniversary of former PM Vajpayee, Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh officially launched the Rashtraparv website along with its mobile app.
The Ministry of Defence noted that the website is designed to ease access to information regarding the organization of national events like Republic Day, Beating Retreat Ceremony, and Independence Day. It also features live streaming, ticket purchasing options, and details about seating arrangements and route maps.
During the launch, the Defence Secretary highlighted that the Rashtraparv Website and mobile app, developed by the Ministry of Defence, include a system for managing tableau proposals and historical data concerning events.
A tableau management portal will be available to assist states/UTs, Ministries, and departments in designing and finalizing their tableaus for the Republic Day celebration.
The development of the website and mobile application resulted from a consultative process led by the Ministry of Defence.
States had recommended the establishment of a portal for managing tableau design data.
Moreover, attendees of the Republic Day event provided feedback requesting access to information regarding events, parades, and tableaus.
The Rashtraparv website has been developed by integrating these suggestions, as noted by a Ministry of Defence official.
The website can be accessed at https://rashtraparv.mod.gov.in, and the mobile app is available for download from the Government App Store (M-Seva).
According to the Ministry of Defence, this initiative represents a significant advancement toward openness, transparency, and citizen-centric governance, serving as a fitting tribute to the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Good Governance Day.
