Kamaljeet Sehrawat Unveils Charge Sheet Against AAP Government in West Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 31 (NationPress) The General Secretary of Delhi BJP and Member of Parliament representing West Delhi, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, took a stand on Tuesday, unveiling a charge sheet that highlights the purported failures and unmet commitments of the Aam Aadmi Party over the past decade.

She focused on the unfulfilled pledges across 10 Assembly constituencies within the West Delhi Lok Sabha region.

Sehrawat pointed out that the Delhi government has not issued ration cards in the last 10 years. While a total of 156,800 ration cards were expected to be issued in West Delhi Lok Sabha, only 68,000 were generated by 2015.

She raised a question regarding why AAP convenor and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is denying Delhi residents access to central government ration schemes.

She also highlighted that pensions for over 300,000 elderly individuals have been neglected since 2015.

Present at the event were West District President Chanderpal Bakshi, Najafgarh District President Ramesh Shokhanda, Zone Chairman Amit Khadkhadi, West District Media In-charge Amarjit Singh Amar, and Najafgarh District Media In-charge Pankaj Singh.

The West Delhi MP mentioned that promises to deliver 11,000 buses, 500 schools, and 20 universities remain unfulfilled. Instead, 940 e-buses supplied by the central government are currently aiding the transportation framework across Delhi. She further accused the Kejriwal and Atishi administrations of delaying the Metro expansion.

Sehrawat emphasized that although the Kejriwal government promised the installation of 1.5 million CCTV cameras throughout Delhi, there is no transparency regarding the actual number installed.

She criticized the government for its failure to regularize contractual workers, including guest teachers, municipal staff, and civil defense personnel. Additionally, farmers in rural Delhi have faced discrimination and have been denied recognition as farmers under the AAP government.

Concerning electricity rates, she claimed that Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena effectively mitigated exploitation under the guise of Power Purchase Adjustment Charges (PPAC), relieving the financial burden on citizens.

She accused Kejriwal of turning the Yamuna into a drain within Delhi's limits and pointed out the deteriorating health infrastructure in the area. Specifically, she mentioned the neglected state of Mohalla Clinics in her constituency, which are overrun with garbage and stray animals.

She highlighted the unacceptable conditions of hospitals such as Rao Tula Ram Memorial Hospital and Indira Gandhi Hospital, stating that they are unfit for serious patients who often need to rush to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital.

She further condemned the educational system under Kejriwal, claiming that of the 1,068 schools, only 700 provide science education, many are without principals, and the promised sports university is non-existent.
