Kolkata, May 3 (NationPress) The chief of the BJP Information Technology cell and the party's designated observer for West Bengal, Amit Malviya, claimed on Saturday that the current Chief Minister of West Bengal and leader of the Trinamool Congress, Mamata Banerjee, will receive zero votes in the upcoming 2026 Assembly elections, asserting that the people of the state will "serve justice".
"In 2026, Bengal won't be serving sweets - it'll be serving justice. 'Pisi chabbishe pabe GOLLA' - Mamata will get ZERO in 2026!" Malviya remarked in a post on the social media platform X.
He also fiercely criticized the Chief Minister over two significant issues: attacks on Hindu religious sites and corruption related to job placements in the state.
"During Mamata's governance, Bengal has witnessed nothing but bomb blasts at Pujo pandals and fraudulent job schemes. Temples have been attacked, and vast sums have been embezzled by her associates, leaving the people of Bengal without jobs or dignity," Malviya's message stated.
Furthermore, he questioned the legacy of the Chief Minister, alleging her background is marred by corruption and attacks on Hindus.
"Though her speeches may sound grand, her legacy is riddled with smuggling, scams, and the silencing of Sanatanis. Meanwhile, she revels on stage while her accomplices are mired in corruption," Malviya added.
Accompanying his post, Malviya shared a mimicry video that showcased various negative occurrences in West Bengal under the current Trinamool Congress administration.
In a related note, the Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari, expressed that his singular agenda is to "oust Mamata Banerjee to protect Hindus in West Bengal".
"We in the BJP are unified in our objective to dismantle the Trinamool Congress regime in West Bengal. Recently marked the fourth anniversary of post-poll violence in West Bengal, instigated by goons affiliated with the ruling Trinamool Congress. I urge the people of West Bengal to pledge to eradicate this autocratic party in the coming days," Adhikari stated.
