Patna, Feb 19 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, made a visit to Rohtas district on Wednesday as part of his Pragati Yatra to assess and boost various development initiatives.
During this visit, he is set to launch and lay the groundwork for several development projects valued in crores of rupees.
The Chief Minister's agenda includes numerous activities spanning different blocks within the district.
Upon arriving at the district headquarters in Sasaram, he inaugurated the District Panchayat Resource Centre (DPRC).
Following the inauguration, he will head to the Circuit House and later participate in a meeting at the DRDA Sabha Bhawan located in the Collectorate.
Throughout his visit, CM Kumar will review various developmental projects, such as the Eco-Tourism and Adventure Hub in Durgawati, a hot air balloon program, leaf plate manufacturing units, Mahua-based sweets production by the Adivasi Janjati Vikas Samiti, community animal sheds, drip irrigation systems, and various departmental stalls.
He will also evaluate the proposed expansion of the Kudra-Chenari Malhipur road and visit the construction site for the upcoming bridge over the Bajitpur Kav River.
CM Nitish will inspect various initiatives, including projects aligned with the 'Saat Nischay' (Seven Resolves) Part-1 and Part-2 schemes, alongside fisheries-related programs.
In addition, stalls showcasing the efforts of various government departments will be evaluated. Extensive security measures have been established in anticipation of the Chief Minister's visit.
A total of 204 magistrates and numerous police personnel have been deployed to 350 security points throughout the district to maintain safety and order.
