Hyderabad, Feb 14 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, declared on Friday that he is comfortable with the notion of being the last Chief Minister hailing from the Reddy community.

He expressed his willingness to make sacrifices and emphasized his commitment to being a disciplined party member.

These remarks were made during a significant meeting at the Congress headquarters, Gandhi Bhavan, where he discussed a recent caste survey and the sub-categorization of Scheduled Castes.

“I am fine with being the last Reddy CM. As a dedicated Chief Minister, I’ve taken on the responsibility of conducting a caste survey to honor our leader's promise. This is my pledge. I haven’t conducted this survey for my own benefit,” he stated.

He further mentioned that the caste data was meticulously collected in the spirit of sacrifice, affirming his readiness to serve as a worker to uphold his leader's values.

Revanth Reddy criticized opposition parties for claiming inaccuracies in the caste survey, arguing that if he intended to manipulate numbers, he would have inflated his caste's population by 15-20%.

Reiterating the necessity for caste surveys nationwide, he warned that any inaccuracies would have long-lasting adverse effects on backward classes.

He accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) President K. Chandrasekhar Rao of conspiring to hinder the caste survey across the country.

Additionally, he claimed that Narendra Modi is not a native backward class but has been legally classified as one, alleging that he added his caste to the BC list after becoming the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

He also noted that BRS leaders avoided the caste survey for fear that the true figures regarding their caste and corresponding positions would be exposed.

He urged BC organizations to ensure BRS leaders KCR, KTR, and Harish Rao participate in the survey's second phase, suggesting that those who abstain should face a social boycott.
