Agartala, June 24 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Tripura and prominent BJP figure, Manik Saha, emphasized on Tuesday that Karyakartas (party workers) need to focus on reinforcing the party's booth-level organization and nurturing a positive connection with the populace.
Saha, who previously held the presidency of the BJP Tripura unit, stated that the acceptance of a leader or the party hinges on their ability to remain grounded; otherwise, they risk being rejected.
Speaking to BJP Karyakartas at Bardowali, just outside the capital, the Chief Minister called on local leaders and workers to attentively address the concerns and challenges faced by the community.
“Our goal should be to solidify the party's booth-level organization. We must foster a good rapport with the residents of the booths and all associated workers and leaders. The past governance of CPI-M and Congress has shown us the political landscape, but through good governance and understanding the people's needs, the BJP now leads in a majority of states under Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he remarked.
