The event is scheduled to take place from September 18-19 in Kottayam.
“This workshop is designed to serve as a collaborative platform for fortifying digital solutions in the Ayush sector, pushing towards a holistic, centralized, and interoperable digital framework. This framework intends to ensure standardization, minimize redundancy, encourage scalability, enhance evidence-based policymaking, and improve citizen-focused service delivery,” stated the Ministry.
Participants will include senior officials from the Ministry of Ayush, state ministers, senior administrators from various States and Union Territories, Mission Directors, and key personnel from State Ayush departments, alongside technical experts from Ayush IT divisions at both the Central and State/UT levels, and specialists from digital health and e-governance frameworks.
Experts are expected to discuss the sharing of best practices and present IT innovations from different States and Union Territories, while also providing guidance on the central government’s IT solutions by the Ayush Grid team.
They will delve into crucial digital areas such as program management, patient care, monitoring and reporting systems, human resources and data management, and financial tracking methods.
“The workshop aims to deliver significant outcomes, which include establishing a unified national knowledge-sharing platform for IT-enabled Ayush services, creating a framework for standardized digital adoption across States and Union Territories, and formulating recommendations for aligning Ayush digital systems with the National Digital Health Mission and other national e-health initiatives,” the Ministry emphasized.
This national workshop represents a pivotal advancement in enhancing digital integration within the Ayush sector, promoting inter-state cooperation, and outlining a roadmap for a future-ready Ayush digital health ecosystem in India.
After the workshop, attendees will also embark on a two-day field visit to Ayush facilities in the districts of Kottayam, Alappuzha, and Thrissur.
