PKL Season 11: Naveen’s Stellar Super 10 Leads Dabang Delhi to Victory Against Tamil Thalaivas

Noida, Dec 1 (NationPress) Dabang Delhi K.C. continued their unbeaten run in the Noida segment of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11 after securing a commendable 32-21 triumph against the Tamil Thalaivas at the Noida Indoor Stadium on Sunday.
In what marked the second-to-last match of the Noida leg, Naveen Kumar showcased his brilliance with 11 raid points—his second Super 10 of the season—propelling the team to the second position on the points table as they head towards Pune.
The match began as a closely contested affair, with both Dabang Delhi K.C. and Tamil Thalaivas taking their time to find their rhythm. It was the Tamil Thalaivas who struck first, as Ranjith Chandran effectively took down the formidable Ashu Malik with a swift defensive move. Yogesh then joined in with a crucial block to deny Moein Shafaghi any points, while Naveen Kumar exhibited his renowned skills, keeping the Tamil Thalaivas on their toes.
Although Ashu Malik was subdued by the Tamil Thalaivas, they had no solution for the Naveen Express. Just as it seemed Dabang Delhi K.C. was set to extend their lead, Moein Shafagi made a notable impact with four raid points and two tackle points by the end of the first half. However, he too fell prey to Gaurav, who successfully executed a Super Tackle against him. As the first half concluded, the score was tied at 12-12, setting the stage for a thrilling second half.
The beginning of the second half mirrored the first, with neither team being able to claim a decisive advantage. For every point scored by players like Amir Hossein Bastami, Naveen Kumar responded effectively during the do-or-die raids, showcasing both teams at their peak.
As the match approached its final ten minutes, Naveen Kumar intensified his efforts, executing a remarkable Super Raid that netted him four points by taking down Moein Shafaghi, Aashish, Amir Hossein Bastami, and Abhishek Manokaran. This impressive play secured his Super 10 and significantly weakened the Tamil Thalaivas. A successful tackle by Rahul on Ranjith Chandran led to an all-out on the Tamil Thalaivas, granting Dabang Delhi K.C. a well-deserved lead.
Ashu Malik also contributed with a two-point raid as the match neared its conclusion. Despite the challenges posed by Moein Shafagi, the lack of support from his teammates resulted in another impressive 11-point victory for Dabang Delhi K.C. over the Tamil Thalaivas.
