Kolkata, July 3 (NationPress) Amit Malviya, the chief of BJP's IT Cell and the party's central observer for West Bengal, has asserted that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has escalated the violence and desperation characteristic of the CPI(M)-led Left Front era to unprecedented levels of brutality. He expressed his belief that the TMC is heading toward political oblivion, especially due to its alarming record of atrocities against women.
Malviya referenced a well-known Bengali saying, “Pipilikar pakha gaachhe moribar tore” (Ants grow wings before they perish), suggesting that the party's decline is unavoidable.
He stated, “TMC’s governance is drenched in the blood and tears of Bengal’s daughters,” in a statement shared on his official X account.
Highlighting specific incidents, he pointed to horrific abuses, including the terrible treatment of Hindu women in Sandeshkhali under Sheikh Shahjahan's protection and the sexual exploitation of college girls by Monojit Mishra, a known predator associated with TMC. “The TMC today embodies institutionalized violence against women, much like the CPM did, using fear and brutality to maintain power,” he added.
Malviya drew historical and mythological comparisons to denounce these alleged crimes, stating, “History has never pardoned those who committed atrocities against women, and TMC will not be an exception.”
In another post, he discussed a recent tragedy involving a TMC student leader, which he claimed pushed a young woman to take her own life. He accused Papon Biswas, a TMCP leader from Nadia, of exploiting a college girl emotionally and physically with false promises of marriage.
“The Kasba horror is still fresh, and now this incident unfolds. This is not merely betrayal; it is rape under the law,” Malviya stated.
He emphasized that the protection of perpetrators, the glorification of violators, and the obstruction of justice have become a “chilling trend” under TMC governance.
“And what of Mamata Banerjee? She remains silent, observing as her party transforms Bengal into a nightmare for its women,” he concluded.
