Chandigarh, April 24 (NationPress) The leadership of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab conducted statewide candlelight marches and visited temples on Thursday to pay homage to the victims of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
The somber events were designed to honor the deceased, pray for their eternal peace, and show support for their bereaved families.
Led by AAP ministers and party leaders, candle marches took place in Patiala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Amritsar, and Pathankot.
Additional marches occurred in towns such as Hoshiarpur, Bathinda, Gurdaspur, Moga, Mohali, and Fazilka. Cabinet minister Aman Arora, MP Rajkumar Chabbewal, and MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa visited a temple in Hoshiarpur to pray for the victims’ souls and provide strength to their grieving families.
